2018 Regional Events

The Foundation hosted three great regional events in 2018. Regional events are informal events where the families get together in a relaxed and fun setting to exchange experiences and get to spend some time together.

MWS FAMILY BEACH DAY – CONNECTICUT

August 5, 2018 – 10:30 am – 3:00 pm
Location: Camp Harkness in Waterford, CT
The Mowat-Wilson Family Beach Day is an informal and relaxing day when families gather together to enjoy themselves and exchange experiences. Families must bring their own beach apparatus (umbrellas, tents are a must) and their food that can easily be eaten at the beach. There are bathrooms and showers.

MWS ATLANTA POOL PARTY

August 18, 2018 – 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm am
Location: Al & Susan Triunfo’s place at 901 Dogwood Trail, Tyrone, GA 30290
Join us for a fun filled day! Swimming pool with basketball hoop, putting green, corn hole, bocce ball and other games. BBQ served around 4 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs, sides & fixins! Please bring your own towels. Hope to see you there!

MWS NORTH CAROLINA BBQ

OCTOBER 20, 2018
The North Carolina barbecue was a great success. Families were together to eat, talk and have a great time! One family had never met another child with MWS and was so glad to get this opportunity to see others like their daughter & talk about their struggles.
